Aviation Wingman/Refueller

Rubis Guyana Inc., a petroleum marketing company, is hiring an Aviation Wingman/Refueller to receive, test and deliver aviation fuel safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Measure fuel tank levels before receiving product and confirm the product meets applicable standards
• Load refuellers according to operating standards
• Deliver fuel safely and efficiently to aircraft and carry out required quality control tests
• Perform daily checks and inspections on mobile equipment and fixed facilities
• Follow health, environmental, security and safety regulations
• Update quality control records and prepare daily work documentation
• Help implement planned maintenance programs
• Follow Rubis policies, operating procedures and the airport authority’s rules

Requirements/Qualifications

• Five CXC passes, including Mathematics and English
• Certificate or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification from a technical institution or industrial training centre
• One to two years of experience in a similar environment, preferably mechanical
• Valid Heavy Duty Vehicle licence
• Computer literacy, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule
