Radio Room Operator (Offshore)

Leader Engineering Guyana Inc is hiring a Radio Room Operator for offshore duty on a drilling installation off the Guyana coast, working a 28/28 rotation. The operator manages all radio, satellite and internal communications on the rig, including call logs, weather advisories, medevac coordination, helideck traffic and vessel movements.

Requirements/Qualifications

• At least one year of prior offshore experience
• GMDSS General Operator Certificate with CAA endorsement
• OPITO BOSIET or FOET, including Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System
• Dangerous Goods by Air (IATA) certification
• OGUK offshore medical, valid for at least one year
• Passport with at least six months remaining validity
• Yellow fever vaccination card
• Seaman’s Discharge Book
