Coiled Tube Operator

El Dorado Offshore Guyana is hiring a Coiled Tube Operator to operate, maintain, test, rig up and rig down coiled tubing equipment in support of offshore well intervention work, safely and in line with company procedures and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate coiled tubing equipment and coiled tubing lifting frames during offshore operations
• Carry out rig up, rig down, inspection, maintenance and function testing of coiled tubing equipment
• Support well intervention operations under approved procedures and help troubleshoot equipment
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
• Help load, unload and secure equipment
• Work closely with the CT Supervisor and Pump Operator
• Complete operational documentation and equipment checklists
• Take part in toolbox talks, safety meetings and emergency drills

Requirements/Qualifications

• At least five years of offshore coiled tubing experience
• Experience operating 125K and 95K coiled tubing equipment and coiled tubing lifting frames
• CT Operator Competencies completion or equivalent industry certification
• OPITO HUET and CA-EBS certification
• Fluent English
• Good mechanical aptitude, strong troubleshooting skills and a strong commitment to safety
