Forklift/Telehandler Operator

Qualco Inc., a growing oil and gas service company, is hiring a Forklift/Telehandler Operator for its facility in Supply, East Bank Demerara.

Key Responsibilities

• Fuel the forklift, complete daily inspection reports, keep records on site and report needed repairs to the manager
• Move inbound and outbound shipments and transport product to storage locations
• Transport goods on pallets or in crates safely to designated areas
• Inspect loads for safe conditions and make sure they stay secure
• Help keep the facility safe and clean, inside and outside
• Attend daily safety meetings, follow safety policies and take part in daily JSAs

Requirements/Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience operating a forklift or telehandler, outdoors or in a warehouse
• A reference is required
• Must be a Guyanese national
• Able to work outdoors in variable temperatures for long periods
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, bend, stoop and reach
