Subsea Services Specialist (Testing and Subsea)

Halliburton is seeking a Subsea Services Specialist for its Testing and Subsea product service line in Georgetown. This opening (requisition 208169) is a separate posting from the earlier Subsea Services Specialist role and focuses on planning and delivering subsea safety system services, preparing equipment, supervising site activities and mentoring staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Work across onshore, offshore and base camp well site environments as assigned by the Service Coordinator
• Coordinate and oversee Testing and Subsea (Subsea Safety Systems) activities at the well site and base camp
• Plan and carry out operations, including equipment setup, well site supervision and customer support
• Maintain, set up, test and operate equipment at customer locations and field camps
• Mentor and train junior Service Specialists in technical and operational areas
• Monitor instruments and perform calculations to ensure data and job quality
• Support the loading, preparation and mobilisation of subsea safety equipment
• Lead pre-job toolbox talks, validate job plans with customer representatives and confirm equipment readiness
• Complete job documentation, including Job Tickets, Job History Reports, KPIs, Job Logs and Job Summaries

Requirements/Qualifications

• Technical diploma in Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical or Control and Automation, or a related engineering degree
• Solid understanding of downhole hydraulics, wireline BOP functions and basic reservoir concepts (BHP, BHT, hydrocarbon characteristics)
• Experience with remotely operated control systems or similar electro-hydraulic subsea technologies
• Familiarity with rig interfaces and integration between subsea equipment, rig systems and third party contractors
• Ability to read and interpret technical procedures and system schematics
• Experience with XT and Tubing Hanger installation is an advantage
• Advanced English proficiency
