Buyers Specialist

El Dorado Offshore Guyana is looking for a Buyers Specialist to manage the full procurement process, from sourcing suppliers through to issuing purchase orders. The goal is to keep purchasing commercially competitive, technically compliant and on time to support operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare requests for quotation, proposals and information (RFQs, RFPs, RFIs) under procurement procedures
• Find qualified suppliers and collect competitive quotes
• Evaluate quotes on technical and commercial grounds and coordinate clarifications with internal teams
• Support supplier negotiations to achieve the best value
• Prepare and issue purchase orders and monitor schedules to ensure on time delivery
• Maintain procurement records and documentation
• Ensure compliance with company policies and client requirements
• Support strategic sourcing, supplier performance improvement and urgent purchasing needs

Requirements/Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in procurement, supply chain, business administration or an equivalent field
• CIPS qualification preferred
• 3 to 5 years of procurement or purchasing experience
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
• Experience with ERP procurement systems
• Oil and gas or industrial procurement experience preferred
