Civil Engineer

Job Description
The Ministry of Public Works is seeking Civil Engineers in Georgetown to provide technical oversight of road, bridge, drainage and infrastructure contracts, mainly across Regions 3, 4 and 5.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare technical drawings and specifications
• Review contractor submissions and design documents
• Carry out site and progress inspections to verify quality against contract requirements
• Liaise with project managers, procuring entities and community stakeholders
• Contribute to project status reports

Requirements/Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• Professional registration is an advantage
• AutoCAD experience
• Knowledge of drainage design and road construction is an asset
