Driver/Mechanic

The Guyana Energy Agency (GEA) is inviting suitably qualified persons to apply for the position of Driver/Mechanic. The successful candidate will drive agency vehicles and carry out vehicle repairs and maintenance. Requirements/Qualifications

• A minimum of three (3) CXC subjects, including English and Mathematics
• A vocational certificate in motor vehicle repairs
• Experience in vehicle repair and maintenance
• A valid driver’s licence (Car/Bus)
• Competence in operating both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
• Knowledge of vehicle mechanics and maintenance requirements
• Reliable, productive and able to carry out instructions
