ARMO Tech Electro Mech 1 (Drilling Services)

Baker Hughes is seeking an ARMO Tech Electro Mech 1 for its Drilling Services team in Georgetown. The technician performs mechanical assembly, maintenance and overhaul of drilling services equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Working to pre-defined procedures in line with established work practices and quality standards
• Assisting in incident investigations and troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with drilling tools
• Assisting in the enhancement of maintenance processes, documentation, and quality
• Performing mechanical assembly, maintenance, and overhaul on drilling services equipment
• Applying Health, Safety and Environment standards and procedures in all situations to ensure compliance is maintained

Requirements/Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Relevant industry experience (electronic, oilfield, automotive, aviation) with excellent mechanical aptitude (soldering electronic components, etc.)
• Ability to multitask whilst using technical equipment
• Good problem-solving, process improvement and analytical skills
• Proficient in reading and interpreting methods and procedures, drawings, and parts lists
• A positive team player with the ability to adapt in an ever-changing, dynamic environment
