Junior Architect

Job Description
Buddy’s Housing Development is hiring a Junior Architect for its design team at Goedverwagting, East Coast Demerara, working on house plans, small commercial buildings and site development drawings.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare residential floor plans, elevations and sections
• Prepare permit drawings for CH&PA and NDC submissions
• Develop site plans, drainage layouts and utility routing for subdivisions
• Work on small commercial fit-outs and interiors
• Produce 3D visualisations and renderings for client presentations

Requirements/Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (BArch or equivalent)
• Working fluency in AutoCAD plus Revit or SketchUp (Lumion or Enscape a plus)
• Familiarity with Guyana’s National Building Code and CH&PA requirements is welcome
• One to three years of professional experience, including a supervised internship
