About the Company

The Guyana Oil Company Limited (GUYOIL) was established on June 16, 1976 and is wholly owned by the Government of Guyana. It is the largest company in Guyana’s downstream petroleum sector.

GUYOIL imports and distributes fuels and lubricants and runs a network of more than 60 service stations across Essequibo, Demerara and Berbice. It works with international partners such as Castrol and BP.

With more than 500 employees, GUYOIL hires for service station, facilities, operations, sales and administrative roles.
