Barista

Deja Brew Cafe on Fifth Street, Alberttown is hiring a full-time Barista to run its espresso bar and front-of-house service. Prior cafe experience is a plus, and training is available for the right person.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare espresso and brewed coffee drinks
• Take orders and process payments on the POS system
• Keep the bar clean and stocked through service
• Monitor and reorder supplies
• Clean and maintain the espresso machine
• Build rapport with regular customers

Requirements/Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail
• Teamwork and multitasking ability, especially during peak hours
• Basic knowledge of coffee, brewing methods and espresso drinks
• POS proficiency (training provided)
• Bilingual skills are an asset
