Lab Technician

Demerara Distillers Limited is seeking a Lab Technician to test materials and products for specification compliance and uphold food safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Test raw materials, finished products and samples, and record and report results, including deviations
• Monitor sanitation processes, including chemical usage
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene requirements
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and perform export checks
• Adhere to GLP, GMP and ISO quality management standards
