Safety Officer (Offshore Contract)

Airswift is recruiting a Safety Officer for a three-week offshore contract supporting a major oil and gas project on the Stabroek Block, working out of Georgetown. CVs must be submitted in English.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure full HSSE compliance onboard
• Conduct audits, inspections and safety meetings
• Carry out risk assessments and oversee the Permit to Work system
• Lead incident reporting and investigations
• Deliver toolbox talks and support emergency drills

Requirements/Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety or a related field
• Minimum 10 years of offshore oil and gas HSE experience
• Working knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
• NEBOSH International General Certificate or equivalent
• Current BOSIET or FOET, Emergency Response training and offshore medical fitness
• B2 English proficiency
