Senior ICT Infrastructure Officer

The Bank of Guyana, the country’s central bank, is seeking a Senior ICT Infrastructure Officer to manage its server, storage and network infrastructure and keep critical financial systems available.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain the Bank’s server, storage and networking infrastructure
• Carry out capacity planning and vulnerability patching
• Manage backup and disaster recovery operations
• Ensure critical financial systems meet required availability levels
• Manage hardware and software vendor contracts
• Contribute to IT policy development

Requirements/Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
• Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Azure or AWS are an asset
• Experience managing enterprise infrastructure in a regulated environment
• Strong documentation habits and incident response skills
• Experience with financial sector compliance requirements is an asset
