Welders / Fitters

Qualco Inc. is seeking experienced, qualified welders and fitters for a large upcoming project in Guyana. Qualco provides maintenance, modifications and operations (MMO) services, mainly to the offshore and onshore oil and gas industry, including welding and fabrication, offshore construction and rigging, rope access, NDE inspections and electrical and instrumentation work.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out welding and fitting work to WPS (welding procedure specifications), company procedures and method statements
• Pass welder qualification testing
• Work safely and support the company’s safety expectations

Requirements/Qualifications

• At least two years of experience as a welder or fitter in an industrial setting
• Oil and gas experience is an asset
• Strong commitment to safety
• Willingness to work flexible and extended hours
• Guyanese citizenship (Guyanese nationals living or working abroad are encouraged to apply)
