Technician (Heavy-Duty Equipment)

Job Description
AHMI (Agri Heavy Machinery Inc.) is seeking a Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician to service, maintain and repair Kobelco excavators. Duties include diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and engine systems; performing routine servicing and preventive maintenance; conducting equipment inspections and Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI); attending customer breakdowns and service calls across Guyana; completing service reports and maintaining equipment records; and maintaining tools and a clean, safe working environment.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Experience as a Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician/Mechanic
• Good knowledge of excavators and hydraulic systems
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
• Experience with Kobelco equipment is an advantage
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel
