Subsea Services Operator (Testing and Subsea)

Halliburton is seeking a Subsea Services Operator for its Testing and Subsea workshop in Georgetown, assisting with repair, maintenance and preparation of Subsea Safety Systems equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Work in the Test and Subsea workshop assisting in the repair and maintenance of Subsea Safety Systems (SSS) equipment
• Assist in assembly and preparation of equipment for installation and service and assist in the running of a job (basic Shoot and Pull jobs)
• With limited supervision from the Service Supervisor, rig up and rig down service line equipment on location, and clean up, repair and prepare equipment for the next job
• Assemble and prepare, as directed, equipment for installation and service
• Drive a truck or other assigned equipment as required
• Work in other Testing and Subsea product service lines as needed

Requirements/Qualifications

• Technical diploma in Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical, Control & Automation, or related
• 1 year of experience in offshore equipment maintenance
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Good reading comprehension and writing skills
• Basic computer skills
• A commercial driver’s licence may be required
• Willingness to relocate to Guyana
