Procurement Lead

El Dorado Offshore Guyana is hiring a Procurement Lead to provide strategic procurement leadership, contract delivery, supplier governance and service excellence for client operations. The role is the main liaison with the client and oversees procurement performance against Service Level Agreements (SLAs), in line with company policy, client expectations and local content requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary procurement representative and relationship manager for the client
• Lead procurement service delivery while meeting contractual SLAs and KPIs
• Manage client communications, issue resolution and escalations
• Oversee procurement governance, supplier performance and policy compliance
• Ensure procurement supports local content and regulatory requirements
• Hold monthly procurement performance reviews and present service metrics to stakeholders
• Mentor procurement staff and ensure succession and backup coverage
• Work with logistics, operations, finance and vendors to keep procurement running smoothly

Requirements/Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement or a related field
• Minimum 7 years of procurement experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role
• Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing, supplier management, contract administration and procurement best practices
• CIPS qualification preferred
• Experience supporting Oil and Gas, Energy, Marine or Industrial operations preferred
