Network Technician I (Installation and Repairs)

One Communications is hiring a full-time Network Technician I (Installation and Repairs) based at Pegasus Corporate Suites, Kingston, Georgetown. This is a field role with travel across Guyana, including stays in remote locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, test, maintain, and repair telecommunications infrastructure
• Configure DSL modems and customer premises equipment
• Troubleshoot faults on DSL, fibre, and Wi-Fi services
• Respond to customer inquiries and complete service orders
• Keep accurate work documentation
• Operate company vehicles safely

Requirements/Qualifications

• Five CXC or GCE subjects including Mathematics and English
• 3 to 5 years of technical or telecommunications experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license
• Working knowledge of DSL, fibre, and Wi-Fi
• Physically fit for outdoor work and extensive travel
• Strong communication, time management, and customer service skills
