Drilling Engineer (Level 3)

El Dorado Offshore Guyana is seeking a Senior Drilling Engineer (Level 3) to plan and carry out drilling operations that are safe, efficient and cost effective, while providing technical expertise and meeting safety and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle engineering planning, design, monitoring and follow up for drilling and completion programs
• Meet well objectives while upholding engineering integrity, safety and environmental protection
• Advise the Operations and Development teams on drilling engineering
• Prepare Drilling Basis of Design documents, including casing design, torque and drag analysis and hydraulics
• Develop functional specifications and scopes of work for equipment and services
• Continuously improve well construction performance in the region

Requirements/Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field
• At least 10 years of industry experience in well planning and execution
• For deepwater positions, at least 3 years of deepwater operations experience
• Proficiency with well design software and Microsoft applications
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Fluent English (reading, writing and speaking)
