About the Company

Guyana Port Inc. (GPI) is a marine services company on the East Bank of Demerara, about 16 kilometres from the mouth of the Demerara River. It was established in 2019 and began operations in 2021.

GPI operates a 2,000 metric tonne floating drydock, the only one of its kind in Guyana. Its services include drydocking and vessel maintenance, engineering, electrical work, propulsion maintenance, welding, fabrication, sandblasting and painting.
