About the Company

Siemens Energy is a global energy technology company. In Guyana, it has been selected as the operations and maintenance operator for the 300 megawatt combined cycle power plant at Wales, West Bank Demerara, which forms part of Phase One of the Gas to Energy Project.

Siemens Energy will run the power plant along with its balance of plant and auxiliary facilities. The agreement covers a five year operations period with renewal options and a 20 year maintenance programme for the turbines. The company is also committed to training and mentoring Guyanese personnel.

Siemens Energy is hiring supervisors, technicians and engineers in mechanical, electrical and operations roles for the plant.
