The Automotive Digital Sales Consultant is responsible for managing and converting digital sales opportunities through online channels, ensuring an exceptional customer experience from the first interaction through vehicle delivery. The role focuses on lead generation, customer engagement, digital sales performance, and customer retention while supporting dealership growth objectives.
Among the primary objectives of the position are:
- Ensure timely and professional follow-up of digital leads generated through multiple online platforms.
- Maximize lead conversion rates into appointments, sales opportunities, and closed deals.
- Deliver an outstanding customer experience through digital communication channels.
- Keep customers informed throughout the entire purchase journey.
- Contribute to customer satisfaction and loyalty through personalized service and proactive communication.
- Identify opportunities to improve digital sales processes and customer engagement strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage leads received through the company website, social media platforms, chat services, email campaigns, and third-party lead providers.
- Contact prospective customers promptly through phone calls, email, WhatsApp, chat, and other digital communication channels.
- Qualify customer needs and recommend appropriate vehicle options and mobility solutions.
- Provide detailed information regarding vehicle specifications, pricing, financing options, accessories, warranties, and promotions.
- Schedule showroom appointments and test drives for potential customers.
- Maintain accurate customer information and lead status in the CRM system.
- Monitor and manage lead pipelines to ensure timely follow-up and conversion.
- Coordinate with retail sales consultants and dealership departments to ensure seamless customer transitions and vehicle delivery.
- Prepare quotations and commercial proposals.
- Support digital marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns.
- Generate and analyze digital sales performance reports and lead conversion metrics.
- Stay informed regarding automotive products, market trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities.
- Participate in ongoing sales, product, and customer service training programs.
- Comply with all company policies, quality standards, and applicable procedures.
- Perform other duties assigned by immediate management related to the position.
Requirements/Qualifications
- High School Diploma (required).
- Technical Diploma or associate degree in Sales, Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related fields (preferred).
- At least 2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or lead management positions.
- Experience in digital sales environments is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in the automotive industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of digital sales techniques, lead management and online sales funnels.
- CRM systems administration and customer database management.
- Customer service and customer experience management.
- Social media and digital communication platforms.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Basic automotive product knowledge.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards.
- Strong organization, time management and communication skills, with a customer-oriented mindset.
