Medical Technologist

Job Description
A vacancy exists for a Medical Technologist within the Guyana Defence Force Medical Corps. The successful candidate will support the development of the Laboratory Quality Management System in line with the GYS170:2021 Standard (General Requirements for the Operation of a Medical Laboratory).

Requirements/Qualifications

• BSc in Medical Technology or an Associate Degree in Medical Technology from a recognised institution
• Must be between 25 and 35 years of age
• Experience working on the development of a Laboratory Quality Management System, with training on the GYS170:2021 Standard
