Internal Auditor

HLB R. Seebarran & Co is hiring a full-time Internal Auditor at its Providence, East Bank Demerara office. The role reports to senior management, works closely with external auditors and covers revenue controls, asset safeguarding, policy compliance and fraud investigation across a hospitality-focused client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare annual risk-based audit plans
• Carry out audit fieldwork with proper working-paper documentation
• Issue detailed audit reports to management and track findings to resolution
• Investigate fraud allegations and confidential whistle-blower reports
• Work with external auditors during the annual audit

Requirements/Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
• ACCA, CPA, CA or CIA (qualified or part-qualified)
• Two to five years of audit, accounting or hotel finance experience
• Advanced Excel proficiency
• Working familiarity with IFRS
• Hospitality industry background strongly preferred
