The Industrial Electrician at Muneshwers Limited is responsible for all electrical-related tasks across all company locations. The Industrial Electrician installs, services and repairs wiring, conduits, fixtures and other electrical devices and systems within the Company. He/she ensures that all installations are done to the required standard. He conducts regular maintenance, diagnostic and repairs necessary to avoid or prevent unnecessary downtime, ensuring safe and efficient operations of all electrical systems.
Responsibilities:
  • Installation and Maintenance:
  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, including electrical panels, wiring, conduits, fixtures and other electrical devices and systems.
  • Ensure all electrical installations comply with safety standards and building regulations.
  • Perform routine electrical checkup and thorough diagnostic of all electrically operated systems.
  • Service and maintain generators.
  • Service and maintain other electrical equipment including UPS.
  • Repairs and Troubleshooting:
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, such as leaks, blockages, and malfunctioning fixtures.
  • Update electrical systems on a regular basis.
  • Conduct regular checks in and around buildings to ensure that all lights and appliances are functioning as required.
  • Identify potential faulty equipment and advise the supervisor; including following-up and give reminders.
  • Respond promptly to emergency electrical requests and issues.
  • Collaboration and Coordination:
  • Work closely with other maintenance team members and departments to coordinate plumbing work.
  • Liaise with external contractors and suppliers as needed for specialized repairs or installations.
  • Ensure minimal disruption to business operations during electrical maintenance and repairs.
  • Documentation and Compliance:
  • Maintain accurate records of all electrical repairs, installations, and maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Assist in preparing reports on electrical issues, costs, and maintenance schedules.
  • Preventive Maintenance:
  • Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for all electrical systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections and proactive maintenance to prevent electrical issues.
  • Educate staff on basic electrical maintenance and preventive measures.
  • Any other duties assigned by Project/ Maintenance Manager.
Requirements:
  • Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • The completion of an apprenticeship programmed or a minimum of two (2) years proven working experience as an Industrial Electrician.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics and other technical documents.
  • Must be familiar with generators, transformers, phase connection, delta connection and wire connection.
  • Must be able to work with 600V.
  • Ability to identify and convert wire sizes and knowledge of UPS.
  • Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations.
