Community Relations Officer/Specialist II

Role of Post:
Responsible for ensuring the company and its contractors provide individuals, groups, communities, and local government authorities with accurate information regarding the company’s projects/operations

Candidate’s duties may include the following:

• Conduct public awareness campaigns/general information sessions
• Support engagement and communication with communities to monitor their needs and perceptions (including Indigenous) while building relationships with community leaders and influencer
• Work closely with Community Relations Advisors and team to effectively plan, communicate and make recommendations for project
• Gathering information and analysis of relevant trends
• Prepare reports regarding community relations

• University Degree in Social Sciences or Public Relations background
• Experience in outreach programs
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Highly effective writing and analytical skills
