Civil Engineer (6-month contractual)

Job Description / Duties

• Provide technical expertise in planning, design, supervision, procurement, and execution of civil engineering projects
• Plan, supervise and monitor civil engineering/infrastructure projects
• Prepare engineering drawings, technical specifications, cost estimates, BOQs, and project reports
• Conduct site inspections
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and government agencies
• Prepare tender documents
• Ensure NPTAB compliance
• Evaluate contractor submissions/tenders
• Monitor schedules, budgets and quality
• Prepare progress reports
• Ensure occupational health & safety compliance

Qualifications/Requirements

• • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university
  • Minimum 5 years relevant post-qualification experience in civil engineering/construction supervision/project management
  • Knowledge of NPTAB procurement procedures and public procurement regulations
  • Experience preparing engineering designs, BOQs, cost estimates, contract documentation
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office

• Experience with Civil 3D, Revit or MS Project an advantage
• Strong knowledge of local building codes and construction practices
