About the Company

The World Bank Group is one of the world’s largest sources of funding and knowledge for developing countries. Its Georgetown office, at 87 Carmichael Street, leads the Group’s work with the governments and private sectors of Guyana and Suriname.

The office supports projects and policy advice in areas such as public finance, education, health, infrastructure, climate resilience and the management of Guyana’s petroleum resources.
