The Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC) is Guyana’s largest public hospital and the country’s main referral and teaching hospital, located on New Market Street, Georgetown. It provides emergency, inpatient, outpatient and specialist services, supports the training of doctors, nurses and allied health professionals, and operates as a public corporation under the Ministry of Health.
