Video/Photographer

Job Description
The Times Media Group (Guyana Times, Television Guyana Inc. and Radio Guyana Inc.) is seeking to employ a Video/Photographer to be a part of its dynamic production team. The successful candidate will analyse and decide how to compose a subject, use various photographic techniques and equipment, capture subjects in quality photographs, enhance the subject’s appearance with natural or artificial light, and maintain a digital portfolio. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Passes in 5 CSEC subjects, including English
• Working knowledge of video software
• Excellent knowledge and command of the English language
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar capacity
• Ability to work under a shift system, including nights, weekends and holidays, or as the need arises, and under limited supervision
• Must be mature and a team player
• Must have own camera
• Videography experience will be an asset
