The Public Relations Officer organizes and oversees public relations (PR) activities relating to restorative justice (RJ), the operation of the RJ centres, and ensures effective communication with primary stakeholders, media and the general public.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handles communication, media relations, crisis management, event planning, and community/stakeholder relations.
- Organizes and oversees public relations (PR) activities relating to restorative justice (RJ) and the operation of the RJ centres.
- Ensures effective communication with primary stakeholders, media and the general public.
- Works to cultivate a positive image and support the national expansion of the use of restorative justice practices in Guyana.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Degree from a recognized University in Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Business Management or any other related degree.
- Accumulated three (3) to five (5) years proven experience as a Public Relations Officer or similar PR role.
- Proficiency in MS Office and social media.
