Role of Post:
The Inbound Logistics Associate is responsible within the Procurement Supply chain organisation for executing and managing the day-to-day inbound logistics and customs back office operations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Invoice review, verification and Service Entry Sheet (SES) creation
- Customs bond stewardship
- Review of Customs Bank drafts requests
- Customs duties and fees verification and reconciliation
- Bank drafts administration
- Customs pre-payment account reconciliation
- Liaise and interface with Freight Forwarder and Customs brokers
Job Requirement
- Accounting or auditing qualification and experience
- Logistics and customs experience/interface
- Strong ethics, integrity, controls, and safety awareness
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to oversee multiple tasks simultaneously
- Oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite
