Waitress

Pacific Rim Constructors Guyana Inc is hiring a Waitress.

Provide friendly, efficient and professional service to guests from greeting and seating to taking orders, serving and processing payment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests
• Explain menu items and specials
• Take orders accurately
• Serve food and drinks
• Check on guests and resolve complaints
• Handle allergy and dietary requests
• Process bills and payments, balance till
• Set up and clear tables
• Prepare service stations
• Work with kitchen and bar
• Follow opening and closing procedures
• Report concerns to supervisor

Requirements/Qualifications

• Secondary school education
• 1 to 2 years’ experience as waitress or customer service (advantage)
• Knowledge of food and beverage service
• Able to use POS and handle cash
• Food handler’s certificate (advantage)
• Willingness to learn
