Mechanic Foreman

Toolsie Persaud Ltd is hiring a Mechanic Foreman.

Co-ordinate repair and maintenance of company trucks, light-duty vehicles and forklifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate daily workshop activities
• Supervise mechanics
• Provide technical support to technicians
• Maintain high-quality repairs and minimise comebacks
• Spot-check completed jobs
• Road-test vehicles
• Ensure care, storage and inventory of special tools
• Attend managers’ meetings

Requirements/Qualifications

• Experience in a similar position an asset
• Certificate or qualification in the mechanical field
• Able to read mechanical drawings and blueprints
• Experienced in hydraulics, engine overhaul and transmission rebuilding
